Homemade Natural Laundry Detergent

This liquid laundry detergebt is free from chemicals and works great! Not to mention it's so easy to make!

Equipment

  • bucket to mix in
  • wooden spoon
  • container to hold 1 1/2+ gallons in

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ gallons hot water
  • 1 cup castile soap
  • 1 cup baking soda
  • 1 cup super washing soda
  • 1/2 cup salt table salt nothing special
  • 30 drops essential oils

Instructions
 

  • Start by adding half of the hot water to a bucket. Add in the baking soda, super washing soda, and salt. Stir to dissove.
  • Add in the castile soap and stir gently. Finally, add in your essential oils of choice. Pour into a jar or container of some sorts. If it gets clumpy once cooled down stir or shake before use.
  • Use 1/2 cup in regular sized loads. 3/4 cup for large/extra large loads. Works well in HE washing machines.
