Brownie Pie
This Brownie pie is an absolute crowd pleaser made gluten free and diary free! It is decadant and so satisfying!
Pie Crust
- 1 pastry for a single pie crust See above for my gf vegan pie crust.
Brownie Filling
- ½ cup vegan butter
- 3 oz unsweetened chocolate cut up
- 3 eggs
- 1½ cups sugar
- ½ cup gluten free flour blend See above for my flour blend.
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
Hot Fudge Sauce
- ¾ cup semisweet chocolate chips I use dairy free.
- ¼ cup vegan butter
- 2 Tbs coconut milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Brownie Filling
For filling, in a small saucepan melt chocolate and butter. Stirring often. Once melted and smooth remove from heat and let cool about 10-15 min.In a large bowl, combine eggs, sugar, flour, and vanilla extract. Stir in the chocolate mixture and nuts. Do not overmix. Pour into chilled pie crust and bake about 50-60 minutes.Serve with hot fudge sauve and whipped cream.
