This fig bruschetta is made up of honey balsamic roasted figs on toasted gluten free bread with goat cheese and topped with fresh rosemary and pecans!It is so delicious and my fall favorite!
Fig Bruschetta
Roasted honey and balsamic glazed figs makes the perfect topping on toasted sourdough bread with plain goat cheese! A fall favorite!
Ingredients
- 1/2 lb fresh figs
- 2 tbsp. balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbsp. raw honey
- plain soft goat cheese
- crusty sourdough bread I used gluten free sourdough
- 2 tbsp. fresh rosemary finely diced
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts I used pecans
Instructions
- Preheat Oven tp 400℉
- Start by quartering your figs and removing hard stems. Place them in a baking dish.
- In a small bowl combine balsamic vinegar and honey. Pour over figs and roast in the oven for about 20 minutes.Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
- Toast bread. Once toasted spread a thick layer of goat cheese. Top with desired amount of roasted figs. Beside you have some of the glaze from the pan drizzled onto as weel.
- Sprinkle with rosemary and pecans! Enjoy
