Vegan Protein Balls

These vegan protein balls are also gluten free and have about 4 grams of protein in each ball. They taste delicious and are so filling! I can only eat about 3-4 on an empty stomach and I am so full for a long time!

This is the perfect pre or post workout snack! It gives you energy to keep up with all the daily demands! I pack them with me when I’m going to be on the go all day. Since they are so quick and easy to eat they are great for lunch boxes too!

My kids are very active and these types of snacks keep them going! It gives them the energy they need and they love the taste! To them it’s kinda like a cookie! Who doesn’t love chocolate chips? Okay, there’s always one person who doesn’t like chocolate, but not in my house! lol I feel good knowing they’re getting plenty of protein because my kids have always loved fruits, veggies, and carbs. Protein has always been a little harder to get them to eat plenty of especially because they don’t eat gluten or dairy.

Vegan protein balls that are also gluten free!

Choosing A Protein Powder

Not all protein powders are equal! I read labels on everything and when I noticed some protein powders don’t have much of anything else in them for nutrition, I realized I am passionate about getting the most nutrient packed protein powder i can find! I guess with everything I eat and feed my family I try and make it as nutritious as possible.

My favorite vegan protein powder is made by Kos! I am so thankful I have found them! Where do I start to tell you all the amazing health benefits in their products!!

To begin, it’s vegan, soy free, gluten free, non GMO, made in the USA, and certified organic!

Kos protein powder contains ingredients like, quinoa, flaxseed, chia seed, and pumpkin seed! They have a digestive enzyme blend in the powder!
Finally, my favorite part is it contains apple, tomato, carrot, broccoli, shiitake mushrooms, and cranberry!!!! So so good for you!

I would say, I am in love with these products right now! Lol They even have a hot cocoa mix that has three different kinds of mushrooms in it!

If you don’t know the health benefits of mushrooms you should really check it out! They’re so amazing!

I am linking Kos protein products here so you can give them a try! Check them out and let me know what you think!

This recipe is very flexible you can add your favorite protein powder, make it as sweet or unsweet as you like, and add as much chocolate chips as you want! Those are the kinds of recipes I like! My kids can sometimes be a little picky so I find myself customizing simple snack recipes like this one all the time!

Here we have gluten free oats, protein powder, and ground flaxseed.

Making The Protein Balls

First off you simply put your oats, I only buy old fashion gluten free, protein powder, and ground flaxseed into a large bowl and stir.

Next, you add in vanilla extract, peanut butter, maple syrup, chocolate chips and almond milk. Once that is mixed we’ll you can start forming into balls by large rounded tablespoonfuls. It should make about 20 balls if they are about 1 inch in diameter.

When your done forming your vegan protein balls you can lace them in an airtight container and keep in the fridge for 3-5 days. I prefer to eat them cold, but I love chocolate chip cookies cold also! Lol

Vegan Protein Balls your whole family will enjoy!
